Lush lawns and gardens set the tone as you approach the BEAZLEY HOUSE, Napa's first bed and breakfast inn. Opened in 1981 by Jim and Carol Beazley, this 1902 landmark mansion maintains its turn of the century charm.
As you pass the stained glass entry, your senses rush to take in the lush surroundings. Classical music plays softly, the colorful gardens beckon through the French doors just ahead. The tea cart is set with those delicious chocolate chip cookies you've been smelling.
The Beazley's have created an 11-room inn where each guest is hosted as a special friend of the family. Reservations are happily made for dining, special winery tours, hot air ballooning, gliding, cycling and in room massages. If you ve come to escape and just relax, you'll be left to the peace you seek. You begin to understand the inn s slogan: "now you have friends in Napa."
Behind the mansion, our Carriage House is nestled among lovely gardens. Here each of the five, spacious room shave fireplaces and their own, private two-person spas. As the inn is primarily a retreat for lovers, you'll find no televisions. Phones are available, but only by request.
The inn is located in a neighborhood of 125-year old Victorians. Nearby is old town Napa with its quaint shops and gourmet restaurants. Just a few blocks away is Highway 29 which leads to over 200 wineries.
