The Maine Stay Inn is a beautiful 1860 Victorian inn with italianate hiproof, accentuated by Queen Anne period flying staircase, wrap-around porch, bay windows, and masterful architectural detail. The Maine Stay offers a variety of accommodations, from charming rooms and suites in the main house, to delightful one-bedroom cottages, several with fireplaces and separate kitchens. A sumptuous full breakfast plus afternoon tea and desserts are included. Cottage guests can have a breakfast basket delivered to their door or enjoy breakfast with the rest of our guests in the dining room. Our living room, which is often filled with the aroma of our home-baked goodies, is a comfortable place to sit and meet fellow travelers or enjoy a fire on a cold winter day. In summer and fall, our guests enjoy our afternoon tea while sitting on our wrap-around porch.
The inn is perfectly situated in Kennebunkport's historic district. Our spacious grounds offer a peaceful resting spot amid gigantic Maine pines. Our location, four blocks from the village, allows you a leisurely walk to the shops, galleries, restaurants and the harbor. Golf, tennis and beautiful swimming beaches are all within one mile. Scenic Kennebunkport can be viewed via guided trolley car ride or by boat cruise.
The Maine Stay is 25 miles from Portland Jetport and 80 miles from Logan Airport, Boston.
