The Wooden Duck Bed & Breakfast is a secluded 10 acre mini-estate about an hour's drive from New York City. Located on a country road in rural Sussex County, it is close to antiques, golf, the Delaware Water Gap, Waterloo Village and winter sports. Seven guest rooms are in the Main House and three in the Horseless Carriage House. Each room is spacious with private bath, television, VCR, phone, desk and a comfortable sitting area. Rooms are adorned with freah flowers. Four rooms feature fireplaces and two person soaking tubs. Guests can enjoy the inground pool and the see-through fireplace between the game room and living room. Biking and hiking are at our doorstep with a 1,000 acre State Park across the street.







The custom-built colonial home is furnished with antiques and reproductions. Many hand-carved ducks are on display, as well as a unique collection of travel memorabilia. Free wireless internet is available throughout.







Much thought has been put into anticipating the guests' needs. There are always complimentary snacks, fruit, homemade cookies and cold or hot beverages in the guest self-serve kitchen area. A library of movie videos, board games and cards are waiting to be enjoyed. A hearty, hot, homemade-breakfast is served in the dining room. Wildlife is always around to entertain the guests--squirrels, chipmunks, deer, wild turkey and many varieties of birds.
