French doors open to our elegant lobby with marble floor and open staircase. Just beyond the lobby is the parlor, dining room and library with majestic views of the city, and an extensive selection of fine leather bound books and videos (mysteries and classics). Each of the beautifully appointed 14 guest rooms have private bath, television with VCR, telephone and all the amenities' one would find in a small European Hotel. Selected rooms feature: gas fireplaces, four-poster beds and jetted or claw footed bath tubs. The inn is surrounded by acres of lawn, flowers and a hill side of natural landscaping ideally located just 3 blocks away from downtown. Several unique shops, fine restaurants and charming antique stores are within walking distance. Leisure adventures include: hiking, rock climbing, bicycling (2 blocks away is the river with miles of bike paths), golfing, jogging, and we also make arrangements for fishing or white water rafting trips down one of the most scenic rivers in the nation.
