The Bidwell House is a refurbished 100-year old farm house. Originally belonging to John and Annie Bidwell of Chico, John was a former Senator and founder of Chico. Annie donated the land for Chico State University.
We have kept the charm of the farm house with 2,000 sq. ft. of common area and added on ten more rooms with their own entrance and bathrooms. Some have Jacuzzi tubs, some have fireplace, all have different themes and antiques.
Included is a full gourmet breakfast for two and use of the house.
Located in the middle of The Lassen Forest, minutes from The Lassen National Volcanic Park, just across the meadow from Lake Almanor and with four breathtaking and very distinctive seasons you cannot go wrong. This place is just plain gorgeous.
Quaint shops and fine dining in walking distance. Golf, boating, fishing, biking, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowmobiling, all within minutes from the inn.
