Since 1725, Potomac View Farm has actively participated in the evolution of the Mother county of Maryland. Until 1988, the farm remained in the family of John Thomas Shadrick, signer of the Oath of Allegiance on the shores of the Potomac River. This turn of the century farmhouse captivates the imagination of all who come to visit. The gardens, grounds and house reflect an era of genteel simplicity, long since gone.
