It is located on the Old Ohio Canal system. The name, Canalview comes from the view of the Canal.

There is a relaxing porch with swing to view the countryside and the canal. There are two farms and country roads for walking and bicycling (which are available for use, free). There is also fishing in a stocked farm pond.

There is a shopping center, antique dealers, any kind of restaurants, Sherman house, Lancaster Historical district, Frontier Days, Lancaster and Zane Square Festivals in Lancaster, Ohio. Baltimore Festival is held in Baltimore, 2 miles away.

Heisy Museum in Newark, 24 miles away, Dawes Arbertum 20 minutes away, 45 minutes to Hocking Hills.

We do not live in the farmhouse. Our home is next door on the farm. You have the use of the kitchen and living room. You may cook a meal. You cross a country bridge to get to the houses.

We are 40 minutes from downtown Columbus, 20 minutes from Lancaster, and 30 minutes from Newark. Baltimore is 2 miles away, with down home meals and snacks.

A delicious breakfast is served with the price of the rooms. $25.00 single, $45.00 couple, $60.00 family of three or four.
