Lansing Street Bed and Breakfast is in the heart of German Village, a very popular historic area just south of downtown. The Village is famous for its restored homes with slate roofs, wrought iron gates and enclosed courtyards. Scattered throughout the village, one discovers quaint shops and great restaurants along cobblestone streets.



This comfortable home offers tasteful furnishings and an abundance of carefully selected artwork throughout. The greatroom is large and inviting with a brick fireplace and attractive furnishings. This room had a wall of french doors which overlooks the courtyard with its fountain, many windchimes and lots of birds and, in the right seasons, beautiful flowers. Two spacious bedroom suites offer all the desired amenities, including cable TV, telephone, clock/radio and both afford the guest "A Room with a View." Reuben has a queen size bed and a single bed, game table and chairs, complete with games and puzzles and a private bath. Lillian has matching Jenny Lind beds, one double and one single, a roll top desk, a sitting room area and a private bath. Guests can peruse a collection in their room of menus from nearby restaurants and brochures from local attractions to help them determine where to eat and what places of interest might have a special appeal to them. There is always a basket of edible treats awaiting guests and a creative gourmet breakfast is offered each morning by a hostess who loves to cook.
