Recently named one of the Top 10 Romantic Inns in the US, by BedandBreakfast.com Get away from it all, relax and rejuvenate at our comfortable 1860's mansion located on 100 acres in the midst of the White Mountain National Forest. The Notchland Inn rests atop a knoll at the base of Mt. Bemis & looks out upon Mounts Hope and Crawford.




Settle into one of our eight deluxe rooms, five spacious suites,or three cottages each individually appointed and all but one with wood-burning fireplaces.




The front parlor, designed by Gustav Stickley, is a perfect place to sit by the fire to read or visit. The Music Room draws guests to the piano or to the stereo.




Notchland's wonderful 5-course dinner is served in a romantic, fireplaced dining room looking out to the gazebo by our pond, Wednesdays through Sundays. The menu is created daily, always with tempting choices: 2 soups, 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, salad and 3 desserts. A full bar complements our menu. Morning brings a full country breakfast to fuel you for the day.




Abby & Crawford, our Bernese Mountain Dogs, will greet you on arrival.



Prices quoted are for 2 people, B&B, per night. Dinner is $35/person for in-house guests.
