Our 1883 Queen Anne Victorian "Painted Lady" has been painstakingly renovated. The home features original ornate woodwork, pocket doors, transoms, 12-foot ceilings and an open staircase. Our three guest rooms include a private bath, queen-sized bed, fireplace and antique decor. Our suite also includes a television and second bed in sitting room. Enjoy the extensive perennial gardens with gazebo and pond in the summer. Experience an old-fashioned opulent Christmas in winter. You will find a 65-house Dickens Village, twelve full sized trees decorated with hand painted, mouth blown glass ornaments from Europe. After our hearty continental breakfast, it is just a short stroll to Grant Park or across the footbridge to Main Street shopping and fine restaurants.
