Breakfast includes sparkling juices, fresh ground coffee and fresh baked muffins (peach cinnamon, apple streusel, pear almond) fresh fruit smothered with whipped almond or brulee sauce and an entree such as Peaches & Cream French Toast, Banana Walnut Waffles, Mushroom & Ham Quiche. These gourmet delights are served on linen clad tables with fine china and crystal.
SeaScape Manor is just 45 minutes away from New York City by ferry or a little over one hour by car. What a wonderful escape!
The house was built as a farm house in the late 1800?s. Julia Hartshorne and Benjamin Trask were given the land at Christmas when they were married in 1889. They raised three children in the house. During prohibition, many parties were held in the Garden Room; silent movie stars were said to have enjoyed these parties.
Guests enjoy the comfortable secluded surroundings as they learn about the history of the Manor.
