La Villa Romaine is located near the restored Old Towne area of Petersburg. This gives our guests an excellent point of departure for sight-seeing, antique hunting, or just enjoying historic Virginia's Central Region! Each morning you will be greeted with gourmet coffee or hot tea, accompanied by Mozart, Bach, or CNN. After this, you will be treated to a sumptuous European-style breakfast served on china, silver, and crystal in the formal dining room.

Renaissance Room: A masculine room featuring a heavily carved Louis XIII bed, with a matching bed crown as large as a small stage! Decorated in the rich deep blues and burgundies of the French wine country.
Louis XV Room: Featuring the only bedroom with a marble fireplace, this room is a true romantic retreat from the outside world. Decorated with an upholstered Louis XV bed with bed crown.
Louis XVI Room: This room features a king size bed and bed crown, and a veritable mini-art gallery of old French prints.
Provence Room: Recently redecorated, this room features a magnificent country French bed and matching armoire. Decorated in a light, airy motif, it's a trip to Provence in the Springtime.
