Historic Old Stone House B&B, Ranchester, Wyoming

You Feel like a cattle baron of the Old West in this 1899 stone ranch house It was built for Territorial Senator Samuel H. Hardin on 10 acres of his most scenic ranch land. You will enjoy a commanding view of the Big Horn Mountains,Wolf Mountains and the rolling Prairie from this, the highest point of the historic 04 Bar Ranch. The house is built of stone with native red rock trim around its windows and doors. Inspired by the Arts and Craft Tradition it has every luxury of its day. The house is designed to give you the experience of the luxury living of the wealthy ranchers of old, and it remains surrounded by the rugged, unspoiled land they once ruled. Breakfast is announced by the smell of coffee brewing, pastries and bread baking, and the delicious aroma of your main course. Through the dining room's large seated window you can watch the mountains change colors as they reflect the morning sun. The fireplace features a stained glass window sparkling between the twin chimneys . Crystal, linen, silver and fresh flowers remind you of this ranch's rich past.
