A restored farmhouse with open porch for star gazing. Deeded first in 1826, this beautiful seven bedroom house has two full baths and a dressing room in one. Dining room is tastefully decorated in Country French antique dining table which seats 14 comfortably. A gourmet breakfast, cooked to order, is served while guests overlook the beautiful, serene, rolling hills landscape from dining room windows. A special picnic basket lunch can be reserved for guests to be eaten while overlooking a natural wading pool and natural waterfall in town. This is a farm community that produces a large percentage of our local dairy products. Walk to a private lake. Bathing area with lifeguard protection. Boating and fishing are available in the 100 foot deep natural spring lake.
Winter affords easy access to hunting, ice fishing, and all cold weather sports. The rooms are beatifully decorated with mainly queen size beds and many original paintings, etc.. Scattered throughout the comfortable house are many valuable antiques. Antiquing at its best in immediate communities. Crafts and markets abound and are affordable. The hostess is a practicing psychologist whose own therapy is gourmet cooking. You'll just love it all.
