Clam Bay Bed & Breakfast is nestled on a point of land ringed with arbutus trees and surrounded by sea, Clam Bay Bed & Breakfast offers respite from the distractions of urban life. Located on Thetis Island–one of the 200 islands in British Columbia1s Gulf Islands archipelago–Clam Bay B&B offers unobstructed views of distant shores, crossing sailboats and soaring eagles.
The Main House hosts 2 suites, each with a view onto the Bay. Breakfast is served in front of a large brick fireplace, or outside on a deck that stretches to the sea. A second cottage sleeps 2-6 people for visits of a week or more ($800 per week). The Cottage includes 2 bedrooms, a stone fireplace, kitchen, dining room and bathroom.
Picnic lunches and evening meals are also an option–with fresh crab and cod a specialty. Indeed, Clam Bay B&B is an ideal location for intimate catered gatherings: weddings, family occasions, or work-related seminars can be accommodated.
Access is via a ferry from Chemainus, a small town located between Victoria and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. Direct float-plane service from Vancouver is also available.
