Dogwood Inn B&B, Chimney Rock, North Carolina
A riverfront property nestled in beautiful Hickory Nut Gorge, directly below Chimney Rock Park. For over one hundred years a fine inn has stood where the existing Dogwood Inn is located. Originally "The Logan Inn", before the days of automobiles travelers stopped here for a night after a tiring day in a horse and buggy or stagecoach. The original inn was devastated twice, once in the Great Flood of 1916 and a fire in March of 1930. The inn was rebuilt in August of 1930. Now newly renovated it contains the charm of yesteryear and the convenience of modern day. The inn offers ten rooms, two with Jacuzzi tubs, and a full gourmet breakfast.
