Worth House, built in 1893, is a gracious and comfortable Queen Anne style Victorian inn, located in the heart of Wilmington's historic district and a short stroll to the riverfront, restaurants and downtown shops. Guests are delighted by the warmth and vitality of the house, the spacious bedrooms, and the common rooms, porches and gardens. The first floor includes a grand entrance with original wood paneling, a parlor, library and formal dining room furnished with antiques. The parlor has a Victorian era pump organ. In addition to its own distinctive and colorful personality, each of the seven guest rooms has a private bath (one with whirlpool), hairdryer, ceiling fan, telephone and comfortable sitting area. Some have a decorative fireplace. A full breakfast is served in the dining room each morning. Refrigerators on each floor are stocked with complimentary beverages and snacks. For the convenience of the business traveler, fax service and wireless Internet are available. Corporate rate available Sunday through Thursday.
