The Ashford Inn is the former home of Col. John Ashford who served with distinction in the Civil War. Much of the homes'woodwork was milled in Col. Ashford's lumber mill. The house was built in 1839 and has been totally restored. The house is on the National Register of Historic Places. We cater to executive and business class traveler, as well as vacationers. We are one hour north of Wilmington, and one hour south of Raleigh. ABC license w/bar on premises. Inn has high speed wireless internet. Banquet rooms and private business rooms are available. Dinners are available on a reservation basis. In business as a B&B since 1997.
The Inn is also perfect for wedding and anniversary celebrations.
