Judge Baylor House, Waco, Texas

Our two-story red brick home has four bedrooms and the Judge Baylor suite, all with private baths and either king, queen size or twin beds. Each room is spacious and beautifully appointed. The rooms have been remodeled and arranged to afford maximum privacy with no two rooms sharing adjacent walls.

A full breakfast is served beginning at 8am weekdays and 8:30am on Saturday and Sunday. Conversation around our dining room table can be exhilarating, or you may dine at a table-for-two.

The world's largest collection of materials relating to Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning is housed in the Armstrong-Browning library, also located on Speight Avenue, just 1-1/2 blocks away. The library has 56 stained glass windows depicting the poems of the Brownings.

When you want a time away from your busy daily activities, celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or spend your wedding night, we believe your stay as our guest will be unusually rewarding.

Whether you sit in the swing that hangs from a large ash tree in the front lawn, play the grand piano in the living room or just enjoy reading a new book, you will feel relaxed and at home in our home!
