The Tudor Rose, inspected and approved by AAA, BBIC and Mobil, is a stately country manor that sits high on a pinon hill surrounded by 37 acres. It is 200 feet higher than the town of Salida and provides 360 mountain views. Offering peace and quiet that comes with secluded acreage, the inn is located only 1 1/2 miles from downtown. Stately elegance and homelike comfort are the specialties of this Tudor style B&B. The formal Queen Anne living room is perfect for quiet reading or socializing. The formal dining room is where two sittings of a hot breakfast are served. Early risers may take part in the full continental breakfast. The relaxing "wolf den" is a place to kick back and watch a movie or sit by the wood stove. Enjoy the sunken hot tub on the deck with spectacular mountain views during the day and glorious views of the stars at night. The Henry Tudor Suite offers romance and privacy with its raised jacuzzi and the Lancaster room is very popular with its king brass bed, cathedral ceiling and views of the 14,000 foot mountains.



The 37 acres borders forest land and horseback riders, mountain bikers and hikers enjoy the backyard access to trails. Stables are available on the property for those traveling with their own horses.
