The Laughing Horse occupies an Hispanic adobe built in 1887, with 10 rooms in the historic adobe with shared baths and three suites with private baths that sleep four to six. TV, VCR and stereo in each room with 500 film video tape library and 400 title audio tape library. Hot tub, free mountain bikes and a guests' kitchen are available. One suite has full kitchen. The old adobe was the private home of Spud Johnson, publisher of the Laughing Horse magazine (1924 to 1939) and friend of DH Lawrence, Mabel Dodge, Dorothy Brett, and in later years, Georgia O'Keefe.For a walking tour, visit us at: http://laplaza.org/~laughors.
