The minute you start up the tree-lined lane, drive past the horse paddock, and approach the 160 year old prairie federal style house you know this is no ordinary Bed and Breakfast, but a trip into vintage "Southern Hospitality." Abraham Lincoln actually slept here and authentic memorabilia still celebrates his presence. All rooms furnished are in antiques.

Glory Hill is special in every season. But when you stay with us in the summer, you can take advantage of our in-ground pool and be sure to use the soft bathrobes you will find in your room. And, on occasion, in the fall, we host "Weenie Roast weekends' where we provide the weenies, the sticks and the fire power. (And, yes, you will get S'Mores for dessert.)

Enjoy breakfast in the formal dining room midst centuries-old family portraits... or (weather permitting) on the veranda. Whichever way you choose, you'll enjoy a fresh and bountiful breakfast prepared just for you.

Getting here is easy, Staying is fun, saying good-bye is the hard part.
