The GRAFTON INN in the fashionable Falmouth Heights, is an historical Oceanfront Queen Anne style Victorian, built prior to 1880. Views from the guest rooms include miles of beautiful beach, breathtaking views of Martha's Vineyard and glorious sunsets. Eleven bright and airy guestrooms are attractively furnished with period antiques, original artwork and comfortable queen and king-sized beds. Overhead paddle fans gently stir the ocean air. Homemade chocolates, PM wine and cheese, and fresh flowers from the Inn's English gardens enhance an atmosphere of leisure and indulgence. A sumptous full breakfast, which may feature fresh fruit compote, juices, cereals, herb omlets, apple stuffed pancakes, Hawaiian toast with real maple syrup, Belgian waffles with fresh peach or blueberry sauce, pecan and cinnamon buns, fresh brewed gourmet coffees and herb teas, is served at private tables on the sun-drenched enclosed porch overlooking Nantucket Sound. The Grafton is on the Shining Sea Bikepath. Sand chairs and towels for the beach are complimentary. Two fine restaurants are steps away and an eight minute walk leads to the Island Ferry to Martha's Vineyeard and Nantucket. Shops, year-round golf courses and deep-sea fishing are a few minutes from the Inn. Falmouth Village is one-half to three-quarters of a mile. Boston - one and one-half hour.
