The Hawk & Ivy, a country bed & breakfast on 24 acres in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We have a wonderful old 1910 farmhouse with a wrap-around porch and private guest rooms. Our guest cottage has two stories, each with its own entrance, bath and full kitchen. The houses are surrounded by wildflower meadows with wonderful views, a small swimming lake, woods and the Ivy River.

We offer a perfect balance for those who wish to stay in a rural mountain setting and still want easy access to the restaurants and cultural offerings of Asheville, only 20 minutes away to the south. Five (5) miles away is a National Forest with trails, waterfalls and stands of old growth forest.

The houses offer a mixture of simple elegance and country comfort. You will be surrounded by our family antiques, Eve's lovely flower arrangements, sleep under fine linens and down comforters. Enjoy country breakfasts and homemade bread. Eve's gardens provide fresh flowers, fruits, berries and vegetables in season.
