Magnolia Place, a stately three story mansion, is located in Red Bud's mid-town historic district. Located just 45 miles Southeast of St. Louis, Missouri, it is a lovely German farming community, Red Bud's historic district embraces the center of the city and represents an excellent example of the small crossroads commercial town that sprang up during the 19th century to serve the needs of a prosperous rural population. Retaining it's architectural heritage, the city is still a reflection of times past.
Magnolia Place, designed by an English architect, was built in the late 1850's and has undergone extensive renovations revealing the building's intended elegance.
We extend an invitation to visit and stay awhile. We offer elegant accommodations and gracious hospitality. As our guest, you will enjoy the large spacious parlor and formal dining room, decorated in an old English Victorian style, these rooms are adorned with chrystal chandeliers and intricately carved mantles.
The building is surrounded by beautiful gardens, towering old trees, brick patios and old brick walkways with a beautiful anti-bellum gazebo as the center of attention. We offer a unique setting for small, intimate garden weddings, receptions and private parties.
