A graceful 100-year-old carriage house sits on spacious grounds, surrounded by large shade trees and wild berry bushes yet close to all the summer fun of the Cape. And in the off-season, it provides an atmosphere retreat for writers, artists, students, and those who enjoy the evocative moods of this very special place.
There's nothing quite as beautiful as the slants of light on a Cape Cod morning. Catch the sun with breakfast by a huge multi-paned window, or invigorate yourself by breakfast on our patio overlooking the grounds, or in the garden. Breakfast includes such items as home- baked breads, bagels, fresh fruit, Quiche or Souffle, juices and fragrant coffee or tea, served from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
A short walk through the woods brings you to an elevated rock-outcrop and a warm-water beach. You're close to the famous bike path, Martha's Vineyard, the Nobska Lighthouse, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and aquarium, shopping and dining in town, fishing, golfing, or the beaches of Buzzard's Bay and Nantucket Sound.Complimentary bicycles are available at the Inn.
