Pension Albergo is a Victorian period house at Leichhardt, the original "Little Italy" of Sydney. Today the area a a true mix of Thai, Vietnamese and South American communities, second generation Italian and Australians. All resulting in a terrific choice of authentic and reasonably priced restaurants and cafes. It is also conveniently situated between the Sydney City Centre and the new Sydney Olympic Games Site.

Pension Albergo offers 4 large bedrooms, catering for up to 6 guests. It is an Irish-Australian household and this plus the cosy atmosphere, ensures your stay will be relaxed and friendly.

During your stay in Sydney you can also visit our holiday accommodation "Yellowsands" a beach house situated 1.5 hours from Sydney close to the Pacific Ocean at Wamberal, on the Central Coast of NSW where you can swim on large, clean and empty beaches. Also you can visit our country accommodation situated 3.5 hours from Sydney in the Barrington Tops area where the forest meet the farmland and wallabies and brush turkeys can be seen. Canoeing, horse trekking, bike riding (engine assisted) or just relaxing in the Williams River are activities available.

Small group (no more than 8 people) non-touristy trips (from day to 5 days) can be organized from Pension Albergo that will take you to the ocean, the rainforests or to the Blue mountains.
