On Prospect Park's lush historic west side, this 1892 four-story Park Slope brownstone, is one of Brooklyn's top ten landmark buildings of Victorian architecture. Unlike any other, this building has been refurbished, restored and refashioned into the borough's first and only true "bed and breakfast" domain. Boasting city and park views located only 20 minutes from Manhattan by subway, a 10 minute walk from the Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Garden and 2 blocks from boutique shopping and numerous restaurants. Bed & Breakfast on the Park is a haven of exquisite Victorian finery and genuine period atmosphere, tastefully adorned with antiques ranging from the mid-1800's to the turn of the century. Original oil paintings hang on the walls and stained glass windows swatched in old lace provide grand views of the park. Homemade bread is baked each day and the huge table in the Victorian dining room is festooned with Irish linen tablecloths covered in German pancakes, light crepes, Quiche Lorraine and flaky, crusty rools with homemade jams and jellies.
