Nestled in a cove inside Shemogue Harbour, this fully refurbished Inn was built around 1859 by the sons of Thomas Simpson, one of the first settlers to Botsford Parish. His son John was only the second white child born in this area, the earlier inhabitants being native Indians.

The house was occupied by decendants of the pioneer Simpson until the mid 1960's. After being vacant for some 25 years it was purchased by the Sudbracks and relocated * mile to its present location. Furnished with early Canadian and European antiques, the owners are dedicated to maintaining its genuine heritage.

The Little Shemogue Country Inn offers not only quiet respite from hectic urban life but also a chance to savour country wildlife and scenery at its best. Sumptuous home cooked meals and five spacious suites await the traveller eager for relaxation in an elegant country setting.
