The Heartstone seems out of a storybook, with its whitewashed picket fence and trellises laden with green foliage. Shaded porches trail around the inn, a grand pink-and-cream clapboard structure with elegant yet homey appeal.









Inside, the charm continues with rooms furnished with antiques and appointed with English country and Victorian floral decor. Small touches like vases of roses, framed pressed flowers, hand-sewn quilts, and designer linens make each room distinct. The inn's newest additions, the Regal and Victorian Suites, are sure to delight with king-size beds, fireplaces and double jacuzzis. All rooms at the Inn, as in the Country Cottage and Victoria House, are furnished with private baths, king or queen beds, private entrances, color cable television, VCR's/DVD's (with free movies) and air conditioning. Guests have use of verandahs, gazebo, decks, and a unique gift shop in addition to an in-house massage-therapy studio.
