Cheyenne River Ranch, Douglas, Wyoming
Cheyenne River Ranch is in the wide-open prairie country of eastern Wyoming. Here sagebrush and prickly pear cactus dot the landscape. The wind blows the tumbleweeds, and you can see forever. For many, this is the Old West--the way it was and still is. Don, Betty and Chuck Pellatz have welcomed guests to their 8,000-acre cattle and sheep ranch since the 1970's, usually only one family or couple at a time to ensure a real hands-on experience. Orphan baby lambs need fed daily and eggs gathered, a great place for a family vacation. A 3-day minimum stay is required for bed & breakfast and daily, weekly and cattle drive rates are available.
