Scholefield House offers a truly "Victorian" experience in a Heritage House which was built in 1892 for Ethelbert Olaf Stuart Scholefield, one of B.C.'s earliest historians. When guests enter this authentically restored Victorian house, situated on a quiet, tree lined street, they are offered the unique opportunity to step back in time to the refined elegance of a by-gone era.

The guest rooms: The King Suite, The Queen Victoria Room and The Secret Garden Room, reflecting their historical themes, are decorated with antiques and classical furnishings. Sherry, tea and coffee are provided in the Library where guests can relax in comfort with a book or make plans for dinner. The delectable five course breakfasts, featuring such things as delectable omelettes, eggs florentine, french toast with brie, and freshly baked breads, is served by the fireplace in the main dining room and highlighted by herbs and edible flowers from the English Country Garden, have been described as "works of art" and often are photographed before being savoured.
