Jakey's Fork HomesteadFish Hatchery RoadDubois, Wyoming 82513 United States 307-455-2769 FAX: none (Calculated from a total of 3 ratings) Rate this Inn Jakey's Fork Homestead lies at the base of the wild Wind River Mountains. Nestled on a hillside, the main house overlooks the original turn-of-the-century log buildings and Jakey's Fork Creek, an unspoiled trout stream. This spacious rustic home is warm and welcoming, heated by a wood stove and large brick fireplace. The two upstairs guest rooms are light and airy with spectacular views from every window. The large bathroom includes a Jacuzzi and sauna, especially appreciated at "the end of the trail." Wholesome western breakfasts are served in our sunny dining room which has views of the flower gardens, bird feeders and mountains. Home-ground coffee and tea are always available. Our home includes a large library. We feature an extensive collection of books about the Wind River Valley and works by local authors. Down on the creek, Justin makes handmade knives in a century old log barn. He loves to demonstrate his craft. Moose and deer are frequent visitors to the homestead. Only four miles away, Dubois, a unique "real" western town, provides shopping, museums and local color.
