Prescott Pines Inn B&B, Prescott, Arizona
Prescott Arizona Bed and Breakfast near Whiskey Row
In 1909, Mr. & Mrs. Eugene Neuman purchased the Brookside Ranch south of Prescott, cleared the land, planted it in fruit trees and renamed their dream the Brookside Orchard. In 1934, a portion of the orchard, where the Inn presently stands, was sold to Alfred S. Haymore, and the Haymore Dairy was born. Mormons, the Haymores raised 15 children in this home, selling the milk from the dairy to the local store. In the late 40s, the dairy was sold and the Haymore homestead endured many changes and owners, not all of them gentle and appreciative of its past.
The Prescott Pines Inn B&B opened those same double front doors with Jean and Michael as innkeepers in July, 1987. Gardens were lovingly established with fragrant pink roses; one of the original apple trees takes center state in the patio garden. Stately Ponderosa pines proudly flank the main house and shade the four guesthouses where 13 unique country-Victorian rooms blend comfort and convenience and each enjoys a private porch entry. A full sit-down breakfast is served family style on rose-patterned china in the dining room. Come share our home and relax--where you'll find the only hard part is leaving!
