Downtown Tallahassee's only bed-and-breakfast inn is located in an historic neighborhood of 19th and early 20th century homes. Surrounding streets are canopied by live oak trees and Spanish moss. Inn is within walking distance of the Florida State University campus and the Florida state capitol buildings. Downtown activities include good restaurants and nightlife. Inn has 6 fireplaces, 3 clawfoot bathtubs, pine floors, and the smell of home baking throughout the day. Large sunny, uncluttered rooms have antiques, handmade quilts, and fresh flowers. Day trips from Tallahassee include Gulf beaches, quaint towns for antiquing, and excursions into the pristine natural area of North Florida.
