The Blue Spruce Inn is a large brick home, surrounded by five giant blue spruce trees on tastefully landscaped grounds and beautiful gardens. The interior has museum quality wood work including magnificent oak crown molding in the first floor public rooms. The house, interior wood work and stained glass windows are excellent examples of the Arts and Crafts period of the early 20th Century. With the exception of the dining room, all rooms have original chandelier light fixtures from that period.









Each room has a private bath with a closet or hanging space, storage drawers and a platform for luggage placement. Many of the pieces of furniture were made by four generations of the owners' families. The Willow Room is very large with solid walnut furniture and a queen bed. Room decor, pictures and artifacts feature the American Civil War. The Spotted Elk Room has Native American decor and artifacts with solid red oak furniture and a queen bed. The Brass Room features brass headboards on two twin beds with many antique brass objects for decoration. The Floral Room is also very large room in the lower level but with two windows that provide bright sun light. The decor features colorful floral designs, wicker furniture that add to the tropical atmosphere of the room. A private bath, closet, drawer space and a luggage platform are also provided. This room is the only room with a TV.









A game room features a TV, pool table, dart board, wet bar, table and chairs for cards and a piano. The front porch makes for great relaxation on warm days with a swing begging for "swingers" and a large sun porch for cool nights. The Blue Spruce Inn provides luxury, comfort and great food at reasonable rates with warm western hospitality.
