Come enjoy the comfortable elegance of Magnolia House. This Texas Historical home offers unsurpassed Southern hospitality in a spacious suburban setting. The tradition began in 1923, when the stately home was designed and built for the Stein family. Edward Stein was the architect, head of the household and designer of the Gillespie County Courthouse.
Every morning guests convene in the dining room and/or breakfast room to enjoy Magnolia House's signature breakfast starting with fresh fruit, homemade muffin, and juice. The breakfas changes daily, including a combination of waffles, French toast or crepes, an egg entree, bacon & sausage. Everything is prepared from scratch and served on antique china and silver.
Each of the five guest rooms are uniquely decorated with antiques and appointed with your comfort in mind. Thoughtful amenities such as fresh flowers, home-brewed coffee and complimentary beverages make Magnolia House a comfortable retreat. We also provide monogrammed terry cloth robes and Magnolia House soaps. Each room has cable TV with DVD.
A custom designed stone patio with fish pond and waterfall invites guests outdoors to enjoy the spacious grounds. The porches are graced with white, wicker furniture.
