Built in early 1900, the Inn originally housed the wealthy summer visitors to Mt. Desert Island. It is located on a quiet, residential, tree-lined street. You'll be away from the traffic of Bar Harbor yet within walking distance of attractive boutiques, intimate restaurants and the surrounding sea.



Acadia National Park, just five minutes away, offers a year round wilderness playground. Come and watch the breathtaking sunrise or sunset from atop Cadillac Mountain or the crashing waves of Schoodic Point.



Enjoy a hearty, breakfast each morning in the bright and sunny dining room. Your palate will be treated to gourmet delights, as we have been fortunate to have had some of our recipes published in Gourmet and Bon Appetit magazines. Our afternoon refreshments will make you smile with delight as you indulge in the treat du jour.
