Morning Glory Inn, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Located in the heart of the city's East Carson Historic District, Morning Glory is housed in a beautiful, historic building that pre- dates the Civil War. The Inn defines gracious lodging, an elegant parlor, music room and library, several porches and a lovely garden. The South Side is one of Pittsburgh's most vibrant areas, famous for its ethnic communities and European-style neighborhoods, a perfect setting for the old world charm of Morning Glory. Less than a mile from Pittsburg's downtown business "Golden Triangle" and the University/Hospital complex, Morning Glory couldn't be more conveniently situated for the business traveler and tourist alike; within three blocks are some of the city's finest restaurants, art galleries and antique shops. Area night life offers live theater, great clubs for jazz, blues and rock, coffee houses, and many of the city's most popular taverns and lounges. Guests will always remember the special treatment that is synonymous with Morning Glory...whether it be relaxing while playing the 1890 Chickering Grand piano, or making new acquaintances over a glass of port and biscotti. My goal is to create an experience that will make our lodgers feel they've "discovered" a little known secret far from the mainstream...
