Built in 1884 as a private home, The Acadia Hotel is located on the Historic Corridor in the heart of the village of Bar Harbor. Completely renovated in 1997, our guests enjoy the ambiance of a Victorian home with all the comforts of modern times.

The ten guest rooms are individually appointed with tasteful wall fabrics and coordinating window treatments and bedding on queen or king size beds. Modern amenities, such as air conditioning and televisions are standard in every room, and each room has a sparkling new private bath...some with whirlpool tubs.

Spend the day exploring the beauty of Acadia National Park with over 50 miles of secluded carriage paths and trails for hiking and biking, and then return to the wrap around porch to relax with a favorite book or enjoy a summer band concert.
