Wolf River Lodge & Campground "Rustic elegance and gracious hospitality - a kind of time capsule filled with antiques, curios and objects d'art of every description and vintage all arranged in congenial anarchy."...Wisconsin Trails. Handmade quilts, braided rugs add warmth to 8 antique-filled guest rooms in main lodge. Also two 2-bed Guesthouses with fireplaces and kitchen facilities. Full breakfast, restaurant(reservations only), and pub. Written about and praised by state and national publications. Visited by many prominent persons. An ideal wooded hideaway setting for honeymoons, anniversaries, weddings, reunions and business retreats. Riverwalk and gift shop. The Wolf River is world famous for trout fishing and the lodge has the distinction of overlooking a hot spot. Whitewater rafting and 1 and 2 day canoe trips. Instruction and rental is available. Sandy swimming beach 5 minutes away, horseback riding, golf, downhill skiing, antique shops, a winery, art galleries and casino gambling less than 30 minutes. Marked bike trails in the Nicolet National Forest just east of the lodge and guided trips and rental are available. Fall color is spectacular. Murder mystery weekends and gift certificates offered.
