Perched on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean, Agate Cove Inn delivers a breathtaking view of the joining of land and sea. The Farmhouse and cottages are set on two acres of beautiful coastal gardens, and 100-year-old cypress trees frame the property. The exterior of the Farmhouse, built in 1860, appears much as it did at the turn of the century, and the original candlestick fence still graces the entry garden. At Agate Cove, Old World charm provides the backdrop for the luxurious accommodations, making this property the perfect Mendocino getaway.



Suites feature oversize tubs and showers for two, fireplaces, huge beds with down comforters, stylish comfy sofas facing the views, interesting interior architectural elements, and designer decor. All but one of the rooms has a fireplace and a private deck.



We serve a full country breakfast in our breakfast room with unobstructed floor to ceiling views of the headlands, shoreline and waves crashing against the rocks!



Encircling the property are lovely coastal gardens. To enjoy the view, guests can camp out in one of the inn's Adirondack chairs, take up residence on an ocean-front bench, hang out in their own balcony chairs, or in some rooms, simply stay in bed.
