Located in the Anderson Valley in Mendocino County, the inn was built in 1888 entirely of redwood and was once a stagecoach stop on the way to the north coast. The guest rooms are furnished with comfortable antiques and the beds are covered with patchwork quilts and cozy down comforters. The living room is open for the guests to enjoy the warmth of the woodstove and browse through the inn's library and magazines. A large collection of jigsaw puzzles will help you pass a pleasant afternoon or evening. In the morning a lavish, full breakfast is served in the dining room and features a variety of hearty entrees, homemade granola or muesli, freshly baked muffins and scones and local juices.
