Charm, hospitality and comfort in a relaxed island atmosphere is the essence of Ironwood House, an elegant 2-story, 3-bedroom country house built in 1939 and located on 1/2 acre of tropical rock gardens.

Just 300 feet from the ocean and a 2 minute walk to Richardson Beach, this magical area features swimming, surfing and snorkling. We are located just 4 miles from Hilo, 10 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Hawaii Volcanic National Park.

Accommodations: The 3 rooms available are second floor. Each have phones, TV and ceiling fans.

Blue Ginger Room: Large suite with dressing room and private bath. Queen size bed and couch which makes into queen size bed. A fine Ocean view. $75/night/couple.

Bamboo Room: Queen size bed, nice size room overlooking lanai. Shares a beautiful large bathroom with Hibiscus Room. $65/night/ couple.

Hibiscus Room: Smaller Room with a full size bed overlooking the gardens. Shares bath with Bamboo Room. $55/night/couple.
