Georgian House Bed & Breakfast, Annapolis, Maryland

Annapolis Maryland Bed and Breakfast near St Johns University

Your hosts Sandy and Hank invite you to come and enjoy their historic and elegant Bed & Breakfast in wonderful Annapolis! See the Brigade of Midshipmen at the US Naval Academy, visit the State House that was the nation’s first Capital after the Revolutionary War, browse the many galleries and shops, savor lunch or dinner at a fine restaurant, or enjoy the fabulous waterfront. Annapolis has something for everyone, and as does the Georgian House.

The two-story, five-bay brick house at 170 Duke of Gloucester Street is one of the oldest structures in Annapolis, and after the Jonas Green House is the oldest home in this historic city being used as a bed & breakfast. The first floor has an elegant double salon with mini-grand player piano and original pine floors, and a comfortable dining room with crystal chandelier. Fine oil paintings, six fireplaces, and period window treatments and bed covers allow a step back in time.

All of our Guest Rooms have Queen size beds and modern private baths. Telephone outlets are available for Internet access, and each room has a cable TV with VCR. The two-room suite has a private bath with claw foot tub and shower, and large living room with gas fireplace, convertible sofa/bed and reclining chair. A large library of popular books and videotapes, small microwave, and refrigerator of complementary beverages is available on the second floor. The Georgian House is centrally air conditioned throughout, and convenient parking is available.
