The Artful Lodger is a Victorian's idea of an Italian villa. Four stories high, with a cupola lookout on top, it is the grand old lady of Ann Arbor. Owned by musicians and theatre artists, it features a music room (with harpsichord), a working design studio and an enormous library of browsing books. It is furnished with comfortable classic contemporary pieces, Asian antiques and music and theatre memorabilia.

The Artful Lodger is located on the campus of the University of Michigan, just minutes from concerts, theatre performances or sports events. It features four comfortable rooms with private baths (1 king-size, 2 queen-size and 1 artist's hideaway - a double with clawfoot tub).
