Established as a hotel in 1852, it operated as a stage stop until 1907. The ranch is situated on 40 wooded acres on the sunny side of the beautiful Mohawk Valley with expansive views of five majestic high Sierra peaks. The most notorious of these is Eureka Peak which is depicted on the Great Seal of California. The ranch has not been sold since 1867 so much of the furniture original to the buildings is still used for the enjoyment of our guests. The natural warm mineral water that feeds the swimming pool flows continuously from five underground springs located on the adjacent hillside. This constant flow, and the "healing properties", of the water negate the need for chemicals. White Sulphur Springs Ranch Bed and Breakfast brings together all the charm and graciousness of the traditional elegance in a magnificent mountain setting. http://www.graeagle.com/marketplace/whtssbb Owner(s): Don & Karen Miller, Tom & Linda Vanella Open Since: 1985 We Accept: Discover, Visa, Mastercard and Checks Price Range: US$85 - 140 (US Dollars) Inncentives Discount for InnSite Users: AAA, AARP, Corporate, midweek of season (Oct.-May) No. of Rooms with Private Bath: 3 No. of Rooms with Shared Bath: 5 Location: In mountains, On wooded site and In country Amenities: Corporate rate available, Discounts/specials available, Other meals upon special request, Limited handicapped/wheelchair access, Therapeutic massage, Badminton, Horseshoes, Swimming pool, Croquet, Guest cottages available, Meeting rooms/facilities, Crib available, Children possible, Designated smoking, No smoking, Picnic grounds, Private porch, Room with scenic view, Balcony, Patio, Box lunches, Full breakfast, Game room, Sitting room/library, Antiques and Air conditioning Sight - Seeing: Historical village/park, Historical site/district, Art galleries and Museum Water Sports: Fishing, Fishing charters, Windsurfing, Diving/snorkeling, Waterskiing, Paddleboat rentals, Motorboat rentals and Swimming Daredevil Sports: Mountain climbing Other Sports: Horseback riding, Tennis, Hunting and Golf Out In The Town: Bars/night clubs, Bowling, Crafts, Concerts, Dancing, Shopping district, Espresso bars and Antique shops/malls Out In Nature: Stargazing, Birdwatching, Apple/berry picking, Nature preserves, Parks, Hiking trails and Bike trails Rides & Tours: Hayrides, Sleigh and bobsled rides, Train rides and Horse-drawn carriage rides
