Alpine Inn Bed & Breakfast, Telluride, Colorado
Telluride Colorado Bed and Breakfast near Bridal Veil Falls
The Alpine Inn was built in 1903 and has a distinctive past as the Alpine Hotel. Two previous fires and a husband's attempt to tear the entire building down have evolved the Inn into it's current 8 room retreat with friendly service and a comfortable, Victorian ambiance. The fresh scent of flowers and baking bread will lure you from the parlor past distinctively unique Victorian rooms into the bright Sunroom or Sundeck where a gourmet breakfast served against a dramatic backdrop of waterfalls and rugged snow covered peaks. Justin, the Inn Border Collie will gladly meet you at the door and provide constant affection as long as you reciprocate!
After an afternoon of skiing or hiking enjoy a moonlit hot tub soak with more spectacular views. Walk or ride the Gondola to all restaurants, activities and festivals. For those in need of more modern conveniences all rooms have telephones and most rooms have televisions.
As a member of the Inns of the San Juan Skyway we can help plan your entire trip to Southwestern Colorado staying at distinctive Inns throughout your adventure. In addition, this summer the Inn will be offering an Amateur Photography class (Fall Focus on Telluride). In conjunction with the Telluride Ah Haa School, this course will enrich the guest experience by including guided photography tours of the beautiful Telluride region. Call for details.
