The Arbors Bed & Breakfast, a cozy English-style cottage built in the early 1920's, provides a tranquil respite at the ocean. Located just 200 feet from the beach, The Arbors offers the small town pace of Manzanita; yet there is quality golfing mere blocks away, and excellent restaurants within a short walk. In addition to the beach for walking, play and kite flying, guests may enjoy the biking, hiking, shopping, fishing, wind surfing or kayaking experiences that abound in the area. The Arbors' simple, tasteful decor is sure to make you feel comfortable. The light and airy guest rooms feature period and antique furnishings and queen beds with down comforters for luxurious sleep. Henrietta's Room looks past the garden to the ocean. Priscilla's Room offers a peek at the ocean and the restful sound of the nearby surf. Each room has a spacious private bath. The house is handicapped-accessible via a front entrance ramp. Relax in the library/sun porch or in the gardens after a day on the beach or in the shops. The living room has a CD stereo, TV and VCR, and there are games and puzzles and many books for guest use. The family style breakfast setting is perfect for guests and hosts to share experiences and suggestions for the day's activities. We serve a heart-healthy full breakfast with quiche or souffle entees, fruit, muffins, scones, and plenty of coffee or tea.
