Craven Street Inn, Beaufort, South Carolina
The Beaufort Bed and Breakfast the caters to vacationers and business travelers
The Craven Street Inn has been a distinguished, private residence since 1870. During the Great Depression, it was purchased by the Lipton family, in whose hands it remained until recently. The home has been restored to reflect the casual sophistication of Beaufort and the Low Country.
Whether your Low Country adventure begins in one of our king bedrooms in the main house, with ten foot ceilings, original fireplaces, magnificent mouldings and century old heart of pine floors, or in one of our private cottages, where the only sound you hear will be the whisper of the Southern breezes through the moss shrouded oaks, your stay in the Craven Street Inn will be memorable.
The Craven Street Inn is in the heart of historic downtown Beaufort, one block from the Intracoastal Waterway, and just steps away from fine dining and shopping. It is conveniently located less than an hour away from great beaches, Charleston, Hilton Head, and Savannah.
